MESH Core Values
Christocentrism
We value Christ-centeredness as the reason we do all that we do. This isn’t just a spiritual tagline—it’s a foundational posture. Christ-centeredness means that Jesus isn’t just an inspiration or role model, but the very center and source of our identity, mission, and purpose. It means decisions aren’t made based on trends, pressure, or personal ambition, but in response to who Jesus is, what He’s done, and what He’s calling you to do. It’s about aligning our hearts and actions with His character—marked by love, humility, truth, and grace.
Relationships
We value serving together in and through relationship and genuine connection. We value relationships more than accomplishments. It’s about doing life and mission side by side with others—not just out of obligation. Relationship is the context for service. In a world that often chases performance, results, and metrics, we believe that people matter more. It doesn’t mean we don’t strive for excellence or goals—but it means that relationships are the greater treasure. It’s about presence over productivity, compassion over competition. When there's tension between doing more and loving well, we choose love.
Diversity and Integration
We value racial and cultural diversity as represented by the throne of Heaven, where every tribe, tongue, and nation stands united in worship. This heavenly picture is not merely aspirational—it is a blueprint for how we live, lead, and love in the here and now. We value the integration of voices, perspectives, giftings, theologies, and philosophies into a unified whole. This value is reflected in the culture, doctrines, resources, and expertise of our team and ministries. From leadership structures to ministry strategies, from our teaching to our team dynamics, we seek to embody this value in tangible, visible ways. We are committed to creating spaces where all people are seen, valued, and empowered to contribute fully to the mission God has called us to.
Stewardship of Power
We believe the image of God is reflected in the full diversity of the Body of Christ. That means no one person has a monopoly on wisdom or vision. We pursue a culture where leadership is shared, and every person—regardless of title, experience, or background—is invited to contribute meaningfully. We make space for listening before leading and for dialogue over directives. We believe that collaboration doesn't slow us down; it deepens our trust, strengthens our unity, and expands our perspective. We are committed to creating tables where all voices are not just heard but honored—and where decisions are made with humility and consensus.
Learning, Practicing and Becoming
We believe that transformation is a lifelong journey. We are committed not only to teaching but to being continually shaped by the very truths we proclaim. We value the ongoing growth, healing, and embodiment of our message in each of our lives. We recognize that to lead with integrity, we must live what we teach. This means we engage in deep personal formation, pursue continual healing, and allow ourselves to be held accountable to the values we invite others into. We don't aim for perfection, but for authenticity,self-awareness, honesty and ownership. We approach life and leadership with humility—willing to unlearn, relearn, and keep showing up to the process of becoming more like Christ. We believe the most powerful leadership flows from a life that is consistently learning, courageously practicing, and faithfully becoming.
